Impart undergraduate level training in civil engineering to officers and cadets of Corps of Engineers and NUST students
Impart postgraduate level training in selection disciplines of civil engineering to officers of Corps of Engineers, Military Engineering Services School and National University of Science & Technology students
Impart Combat and Civil Engineering Training to Allied Officers
Undertake Research & Development work for Civil Engineering
Control, supervise and coordinate functioning of Military Engineering Services School

About Library

MCE Main Library was commissioned in present building in 1994 with enhanced facilities. Post Graduate Wing Library was functioning separately. It was merged with this library in 1998.

Information Services:

Book Lending
All registered users are entitled to borrow the books. Lending privileges differ for various categories. Please inquire at the circulation desk for your eligibility. To borrow books present your Library Membership Card at the circulation desk.

Digital Libary:
Nine terminals are dedicated for electronic and online databases searching including full text information abstract and indexes.

Computer Centre

A Computer Centre has been established to keep pace with modern trends and research in engineering field. Computer Centre offers following facilities:

Internet Hall. This hall Consists of 9 computers, which are connected through LAN. The basic purpose of this hall is to provide Research and Internet Surfing facilities to undergraduates.

Net Cafee. This hall Consists of 5 computers and 2 Laptops, which are connected through LAN. The basic purpose of this Cafee is to provide Research and Internet Surfing facilities to undergraduates after college hours.

Software Engineering Lab. This hall Consists of 20 computers 1 Servers , which are connected through LAN. The basic purpose of this Lab is to provide Hands On Practice of the Latest Professional Civil Engineering Software in the market which includes
a. GEO STUDIO.
b. AUTOCAD.
c. LISCAD.
d. WATSYS.
e. HYDSYS.
f. SANSYS.
g. STAAD PRO 2004.
h. SAP2000.
i. Primavera.
