About Library

MCE Main Library was commissioned in present building in 1994 with enhanced facilities. Post Graduate Wing Library was functioning separately. It was merged with this library in 1998.

Information Services:

Book Lending
All registered users are entitled to borrow the books. Lending privileges differ for various categories. Please inquire at the circulation desk for your eligibility. To borrow books present your Library Membership Card at the circulation desk.

Digital Libary:
Nine terminals are dedicated for electronic and online databases searching including full text information abstract and indexes.

Reference Service:

 

Searching Assistant:
In case an item is not located on the shelf, inquiry can be made at the circulation desk. A search will then be initiated and the user will be notified when required item is foun. The found item will be held at the circulation desk for two days for the user to pick up.

Reporgraphics Services:
One photocopying machine is available in library for photocopying the reference items.

Printing and Scanning Services:
One printer and two scanners are available for users.
